The first step for all design services is to schedule a complimentary Discovery Meeting. During this time we’ll share our approach to design and you can share your dreams and needs for the project. To maximize our time together, clients will complete a Discovery Questionnaire in advance.

Following the Discovery Meeting, we will create a custom proposal for your project outlining the scope of our work, deliverables, and fees. Our design fees for full-service interior design are based on livable square footage. Payment is due on a defined installment schedule. The project will commence upon acceptance of the proposal and payment of the first installment.

We will review your floorplan in partnership with your architect and builder to ensure the final plan maximizes functionality for your lifestyle. We will partner with your builder to ensure we compliment their processes and keep the design process efficient and stress-free for all.

We will select exterior and interior finishes for your home. Visualizations will be provided to ensure the design aligns with your preferences and you are confident with the final choices before purchasing.

We will partner with you to understand what existing furniture you would like to incorporate into your home and then select complimentary pieces to complete the design. Decor such as linens, window treatments, art and accessories may also be selected for an additional flat fee. Items purchased through our designer accounts may be eligible for a trade price which is discounted from standard retail. A percentage markup, generally 20%, will be added to the discount price for procurement. For items purchased through Elsie & Ivy Interiors, we will manage shipment and delivery along with processing of any claims initiated prior to installation as needed. Clients may purchase furniture and decor independently if desired.

We will partner with your builder, contractors, and vendors to ensure all details are handled effectively and efficiently to keep you project on time and on budget as your dream home becomes a reality.

We will ensure all selected finishes, furniture, and decor are delivered, installed, and styled so at the completion of the project you have a fully functional, beautiful home where your family can thrive.
